Regulations of Kullaberg Nature Reserve

Nature Reserve's boundaries are marked by poles with a white snowflake against a blue background.
  • Soil, rocks and stones must not be damaged
  • Flowers and plants must not be picked or dug up
  • Do not break branches or damage bushes and trees
  • Do not take plants or animal life from the seabed
  • Animal life must not be harmed or knowingly disturbed (e.g. by playing loud music)
  • Motorized vehicles are only permitted on designated roads and must be parked in designated parking spaces
  • Tents, caravans, motorhomes or similar must not be erected or parked within the Nature Reserve
  • Fires/barbecues are only permitted at designated locations and at times when there is no fire ban in force
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead all year round
  • Please respect people as well as animals
  • During the period 1 March - 15 July there is no entrance to the area between Djupadal and the Valdemar cave
  • Do not litter
  • Posters, signs, placards or similar must not be erected
  • Horseback riding is only allowed on designated paths or areas

Marine reserve


A 300 meters wide area around the coast is designated a marine reserve. In addition to the above mentioned restrictions, please also observe the following:

  • Do not place fixed fishing gear closer to shore than 50 meters
  • Do not place any objects or other devices on the sea bottom
  • Fishing with fixed fishing gear requires special permission from the Country Administrative Board of Skåne Department of Environment
  • Collecting or catching bottom-dwelling plants or animals requires special permission from the County Administrative Board of Skåne Development of Environment
  • It is not allowed to cultivate fish or mussels
  • It is not allowed to make land or anchor boats and houseboats for more than 24 hours expect if weather conditions do not allow continued journey
  • It is not allowed to damage or remove wrecks, parts of wrecks or loose items that have been on the bottom of the sea for more than 20 years
  • Maximum speed for motor ships is 7 knots within the marine reserve
