Nature is an adventure – and it starts here! The nature reserve is always open! At the visitor center naturum Kullaberg you can get knowledge, inspiration and tips to help you discover the nature. Naturum is situated nearby the tip of Kullaberg. Here you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea and its surroundings. You´ll find the opening hours in naturum Kullaberg further down the page.
Kullaberg is wonderful all year round, but during the summer we receive a very large number of visitors. The car parks and the area around the lighthouse can often become overcrowded. If you would like a more peaceful nature experience, we recommend visiting in the morning, when there are fewer visitors. Check the parking links at the bottom of the page to see visitor numbers in real time.
You can also explore other parts of Kullaberg where visitor numbers are lower, such as Björkeröd, where you can experience the beautiful beech forest and the enchanting Mölle Bog. Or why not explore some of the other fantastic nature reserves in Höganäs Municipality? Experience rugged coastal heathlands with trails winding along the sea, and take the opportunity to go for a swim. You can find the nature reserves here.
We encourage visitors to leave their cars at home and choose another means of transport when visiting us. During the summer, bus 202 runs from Mölle to the lighthouse car park on Kullaberg. Search for your journey with Skånetrafiken, How to travel – Skånetrafiken
If you are cycling, there is a cycle path from Höganäs along the old railway line. It is an easy and scenic route to Mölle.
Parking on Kullaberg is free, but you may only park in designated parking areas.
There are several car parks for passenger cars on Kullaberg:
Western Kullaberg: The Lighthouse Car Park, The Golf Course Car Park, Ransvik and Josefinelust.
Eastern Kullaberg: Björkeröd and Himmelstorp.
There is also a car park at Mölle Chapel, at the entrance to Mölle.
Accessible parking spaces are available at the ice cream kiosk by the lighthouse, at the lower Ransvik car park and at Björkeröd.
Passenger cars may be parked overnight throughout the year.
There are designated parking spaces for motorhomes, campervans with fixed sleeping facilities and light commercial vehicles:
Motorhomes, caravans, light commercial vehicles and campervans with fixed sleeping facilities may not be parked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. This restriction applies year-round. The purpose of this rule is to create a safe and peaceful environment and a better nature experience for everyone—including the wild animals that live in the nature reserve. The nearest overnight parking area for motorhomes and similar vehicles is at Mölle Chapel, at the entrance to Mölle.
Accessible parking spaces are available at the ice cream kiosk by the lighthouse, at the lower Ransvik car park and at Björkeröd.
You are welcome to spend the night in our shelters and at our designated campsite on Western Kullaberg by the Lighthouse Car Park. Shelters are available at Josefinelust and Himmelstorp.
These rules are in place to protect the natural environment. Breaking these rules is an offence and may result in a fine.
Kullaberg Nature Reserve is subject to strong environmental protection measures to preserve valuable habitats and biodiversity. For this reason, you may only barbecue or use spirit and gas stoves at our designated fixed barbecue areas, nowhere else. Lighting fires on the ground or in the grass damages flora and fauna and also increases the risk of an uncontrolled fire. To protect the natural environment, we therefore have rules governing where barbecuing is permitted. Breaking these rules is an offence and may result in a fine. Our barbecue areas are located next to the following car parks: The Lighthouse Car Park, Josefinelust, Björkeröd and Himmelstorp.
When conditions are very dry and the risk of wildfire is extremely high, the emergency services may issue an enhanced fire ban. During an enhanced fire ban, you may not barbecue or use spirit or gas stoves anywhere – not even at our designated fixed barbecue areas. It is everyone’s responsibility to check the fire risk before heading out into forests and natural areas. Here you can find the fire risk forecast for Höganäs Municipality: Fire Risk Forecast – RSNV
Leave no trace. Take your rubbish home with you or put it in one of our bins. At Josefinelust, you can sort your waste for recycling. There is a recycling station at Mölle Chapel. Together, we take care of nature, and nature takes care of us.
Accessible parking spaces are available at the ice cream kiosk by the lighthouse, at the lower Ransvik car park and at Björkeröd.
Accessible outdoor toilets are available at the Lighthouse Car Park, Golf Car Park, Josefinelust, Ransvik, Björkeröd and Upper Himmelstorp. There is also an accessible toilet inside Naturum and at the ice cream kiosk.
There is an accessible trail for wheelchair users at Björkeröd. The trail is 800 metres long and runs over level ground through beech forest and pastureland. We also have trails adapted for people with visual impairments, for prams and for all-terrain wheelchairs. These trails also start at Björkeröd. Read more about our accessible trails here.
To improve visitor safety, we have installed signs identifying rescue points throughout the nature reserve. They are located on signposts along our trails. If you find yourself in an emergency and need to call 112, you can give the operator the number of the nearest rescue point. This makes it easier for the emergency services to locate you. You can find a map of the rescue points here.
An automated external defibrillator (AED) is available outdoors at Naturum. As the AED is accessible 24 hours a day, valuable minutes can be saved in an emergency. Additional accessible AEDs are registered on the map maintained by the Swedish AED Registry, which can be used by both visitors and emergency services, Hjärtstartarregistret,
