To get the most out of your visit

Avoid crowds

Kullabergs Nature Reserve is a magical expierence all year round. In summertime, however, we have a lot of vististors, especially in the area of the lighthouse. In order to avoid crowding, you  can visit Kullaberg in the mornings when there are less visitors. You can also visit less crowded places at Kullaberg, like Björkeröd, where you can walk in the beautiful beech forest and visit the magical wetland Mölle mosse.

Or why not discover one of our other beautiful Nature Reserves in the vicinity, where you can follow the winding trails along the coastside and take a dip in the ocean . You can find other Nature Reserves to discover here

How to get here

Take the bus to Kullaberg
We encourage our visitors to leave the car at home and choose another mode of transportation when coming to visit us. If this is not possible, there is a large parking lot by the chapel in Mölle. It is on your right side when entering Mölle. From there, trails lead you up the mountain.

Bus 220 runs from Helsingborg via Höganäs, with final stop Mölle. From Mölle, bus 202 runs during summer to the lighthouse parking area at Kullaberg. This bus runs once per hour.

By car: Parking correctly

Parking may only take place in marked parking spaces.

From June 24 to August 11 it is forbidden to park in Kullaberg Nature Reserve between 22:00 to 06:00, both for passenger cars and for motorhomes/caravans.

Parking for motorhomes and caravans: designated spaces at the large car park near the lighthouse, the car park by the golf club, the car park at Ransvik, the car park at Björkeröd and the car park at Himmelstorp.

Accessible parking spaces are located at the ice-cream kiosk by the lighthouse, at the lower Ransvik parking lot, and at Björkeröd.

Accessibility

An accessible trail for wheelchairs is available at Björkeröd. It is 800 meters long on flat ground through beech forest and pastures. We also have trails adapted for visually impaired visitors, for strollers, and for all-terrain wheelchairs. These trails also start from Björkeröd.

Accessible parking spaces are located at the ice-cream kiosk by the lighthouse, at the lower Ransvik parking lot, and at Björkeröd.

Accessible outdoor toilets are available at the Lighthouse parking, the Golf parking, Josefinelust, Ransvik, Björkeröd, and upper Himmelstorp. An accessible indoor toilet is also available at Naturum and at the ice-cream kiosk (during the summer).

Safety

In order to increase your safety as a visitor, we have installed rescue points throughout the
reserve. These can be found on signs along our trails. So if you are in an emergency situation and need to call 112, you can indicate your nearest rescue point. This will make it easier for the emergency services to find you. So keep an eye out for the rescue points you pass! You can find a map of the rescue points here.

Take your trash home

Leave no trace. Take your trash home or place it in one of our bins. At Josefinelust, you can sort your waste for recycling. At Mölle chapel, there is a recycling station. Together we take care of nature, and nature takes care of us.

Visitor Center Naturum Kullaberg

Naturum Kullaberg is a Visitor Center at Kullen’s lighthouse at the far end of the northern inlet to the Sound. Naturum Kullaberg offers the exhibition ”The gate to Kullaberg” which shows Kullaberg’s nature reserve from sky to sea. Around nature there are modules placed, where you can guess at bird sounds, mushrooms, flowers or strange animals in the sea. The children’s favorite is often the saltwater aquarium where anyone who wants can feel a starfish. This may only be done together with nature guides.

At the Visistor Center Naturum Kullaberg you can get tips and ideas for hikes and excursions in nature. The idea is simple – naturum Kullaberg should be the gateway to nature. Naturum is owned by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and managed by the County Administrative Board of Skåne. More information about Sweden’s nature can be found on the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency’s website.

The vistor center is closed during wintertime and reopens in spring.
